Mural Art Dubai | Custom-Designed Wall Murals by La Belle Maison
Mural art in Dubai, in short: a wall mural is an original, oversized artwork designed for one specific wall — not a repeating wallpaper pattern. La Belle Maison originates every mural in-house, scales it to your exact dimensions, prints it, and installs it. Prices start at AED 160/sqm with a 5 sqm minimum.
What Makes Something Mural Art, Not Just Wallpaper
Wallpaper repeats. Mural art doesn't. A wallpaper roll is a pattern designed to tile seamlessly across any wall, any width, any room — useful, but generic by design. A mural is composed for one wall: the scale of a single crane in flight, the sweep of a jungle canopy, the exact point where a branch of blossom should cross the ceiling line. It's the difference between a fabric print and a painting.
That distinction is the entire basis of La Belle Maison's studio. We don't stock mural art — we originate it. Every design in our collections began as a creative brief: a mood, a colour story, a reference image, developed into finished artwork before it's ever scaled to a wall.
How La Belle Maison Originates a Mural
Our creative director develops every mural using AI-assisted design tools, refined by hand for colour balance, composition and print-ready detail — the same process behind collections like Anima and Moody. It's a genuinely different production model to a traditional wallpaper house sourcing from a pattern library: every piece is designed specifically to read as art at mural scale, not merely enlarged from a swatch-book repeat.
For clients who want something entirely their own, our bespoke design service takes this further — developing an original piece from your brief, reference imagery or moodboard, refined through revision rounds until it's exactly right, then treated as a one-off: never reused or resold to another client.
Where Mural Art Works Best
The strongest mural placements share one thing: a wall with nothing else competing for attention. A living room feature wall behind a low sofa. The wall a guest sees first on entry. A restaurant's back bar, or a hotel lobby's reception wall. A headboard wall in a primary bedroom. In each case, the mural is doing the job a piece of large-scale art would do — setting the tone of the room — at a scale and permanence that framed art can't match.
Our residential clients most often commission mural art for living rooms, primary bedrooms and entryways; our commercial and hospitality clients for lobbies, restaurant interiors and boutique retail. Browse the full mural collection to see the range — botanical, geometric, abstract, and architecturally inspired pieces are all represented.
From Artwork to Installed Wall
Every mural is printed to your exact wall dimensions — never a standard size trimmed to fit. Our team measures on-site if needed (a paid measurement visit, fully redeemable against your order), the design is scaled precisely, and installation is handled by our own Dubai-based team, free of charge on orders of 15 sqm and above. Full process detail lives on our Custom Wallpaper & Murals page.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is mural art, exactly?
Mural art is a large-scale, non-repeating artwork designed for a specific wall — as opposed to wallpaper, which is a repeating pattern designed to work across any wall. La Belle Maison originates every mural as a piece of artwork first, then prints it to your exact dimensions.
Can I commission a fully original mural design?
Yes. Our bespoke design service develops an entirely original piece from your reference images or brief, refined with you through several rounds until it's right. It carries a one-time AED 500 design fee; the printed mural itself is priced the same as any other, at AED 160/sqm.
Do you install mural art outside Dubai?
Yes — we install across the UAE, including Abu Dhabi, where a AED 200 travel surcharge applies on top of the standard installation fee.
How is mural art priced?
AED 160 per square metre, with a 5 sqm minimum order. Installation is complimentary on orders of 15 sqm and above; below that, a flat AED 250 fee applies.
How long does a mural take from order to installed wall?
Typically 7–10 business days from design approval to delivery and installation.
