Measure Your Wall

Before you start

  1. Measure the full wall width and height.
  2. If your wall has skirting boards or coving, exclude these (the wallpaper will not cover them).
  3. Measure in 2–3 places and use the largest measurement.
  4. Double-check your numbers before ordering.

What to do for every wall type...

  • Standard Wall

    1.  Measure the full height (exclude skirting/coving). 

    2. Measure the full width. 

    3. Double-check your measurements before ordering.

  • Sloped Wall (one slant)

    1. Measure the longest height (highest point). 

    2. Measure the widest width. 

    3. Ignore the slope when measuring. We print your mural as a full rectangle/square, and the sloped area is trimmed during installation.

  • Pitched Wall (two slants)

    1. Measure the longest height (highest point). 

    2. Measure the widest width. 

    3. Ignore the angles when measuring. Your mural is printed as a rectangle/square, and the cutaways are done during installation.

  • Wall with Obstacles (doors, windows, sockets)

    1. Measure the total wall height. 

    2. Measure the total wall width. 

    3. Do not subtract obstacles (doors/windows/switches). The installer will cut around obstacles during installation.
